The homozygous Sable - aka the Super Sable - is a knockout snake!  An oily, iridescent black-brown with olive green highlights and muted yellow undertones, this mutation is a winner for those who enjoy melanistic ball pythons.  Super Sables have blotched, irregular lateral patterns and often exhibit dorsal striping.  When bred, Super Sables produce all Sable offspring in the first generation.  Super Sables are also highly iridescent, a trait not usually seen in ball pythons.
