Jungle retics are the result of breeding a Borneo Bateater hybrid (Burmese Python x reticulated Python) to a reticulated Python. The resulting offspring are quite variable and dramatic in appearance. This is one of our favorite hybrids and pictures will not do them justice! Years back Jeff Corwin did a commercial spot for Animal Planet using one of NERD's Jungle retics, since it was an relatively unknown hybrid people were quite confused by what kind of snake it was. Many people thought is was an Anaconda of all things!
