Powder Blue tokays are simply gorgeous. This light, patternless mutation appears as a dark gray/blue animal by day, with a yellow-green wash & darker blue undertones. At night, they turn extremely light blue, bordering on white, sometimes with a hint of yellow. The eyes are intense yellow with gold & red flecking. Babies are generally darker blue-gray with white spots that diminish as they grow. As with our other captive bred tokays, the babies from this project are quite tractable & become even more so with gentle, consistent interaction from a thoughtful keeper who takes the time to understand them! |
