All sales are subject to the following terms:

· All prices listed are in US dollars for single juvenile animals unless specifically noted otherwise, and do not include shipping fees.

·All animals are guaranteed to be correctly sexed, feeding and healthy, and accurately match any description and/or pictures sent to customer prior to shipping, unless previously discussed and agreed upon by customer & NERD. We do not guarantee animal temperament unless otherwise specified.

· Please open shipping boxes and inspect all animals immediately upon receipt of shipment. If you have any concerns regarding your order, you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt of your shipment. We want you to be happy with the animals you receive from NERD; if there are any problems we need to know about them right away. Please contact us to discuss credit or replacement on animals with which you are dissatisfied (no cash refunds). Payments & deposits are non-refundable, unless *we* are unable to provide the animal. We do not issue refunds because you "changed your mind" or "don't want to wait for safe shipping weather" etc.

Also, in the event that you need to contact NERD regarding any issues with animals you receive from us, PLEASE CALL - DO NOT E-MAIL!! We get so many e-mails in the course of a day that we may not have a chance to address them all at once, thus cannot always guarantee a fast turnaround.

· Animals are guaranteed for 48 hours after leaving NERD. Once a reptile leaves our facility we have no control over the care that they receive from you. We take a lot of pride in ensuring that the reptiles we sell are immaculate, well-started animals that thrive under proper care.

· If you intend to pick up your animals at our facility, you MUST call for pricing and to set up an appointment.

· We reserve the right NOT to fulfill anonymous price/animal requests. Please include valid contact information for serious inquiries. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.


Trades are considered on a case-by-case basis. We will only complete a trade when the animal you are offering has been received, inspected & approved. We do not ship first. Please be a verified/approved shipper, or have access to a verified/approved shipping account. Shipping is covered by each individual party on their respective end unless other arrangements are made.

· Dry Goods Returns

For dry goods/supplies/shirts/books: If you receive an item that is defective or the wrong size, please contact us immediately regarding replacement.

We do not accept returns on personalized items - i.e. signed books, etc.

Payment Info    

All orders must be paid in full prior to shipment. NERD accepts the following payment methods:

· Animals may be held with a 25% non-refundable deposit for 30 days. Please be prepared to make final payment after 30 days, unless other specific arrangements are made between purchaser & NERD. If you are unable to fulfill your payment obligation & make no other arrangements with our company, we will assume you wish to forfeit your deposit & the animal will be placed for sale again.

Shipping Info    
Customers are responsible for all shipping costs & fees. We use Delta, US Air & UPS as our primary carriers.

Airline shipments are guaranteed for live arrival; all shipments must be picked up within 4 (four) hours of arrival. Please open your boxes & inspect your order before signing the delivery receipt. Airlines will not allow damage claims unless it is noted on the delivery receipt you sign. We expect all shipments to be picked up within 4 (four) hours of airline arrival. Typical airline shipment is $85.00 (prepaid).

We are unable to offer a live arrival guarantee on shipments sent via UPS, however, we have had great success with express services and ship according to weather to ensure a successful shipment. Typical express shipment is $60 depending on destination and shipment size. All express orders require customer presence for delivery! UPS WILL NOT leave shipments if no one answers when they deliver! Please take this into consideration when making shipping arrangements. Extreme Weather - Please NOTE! We do everything we can to make our customers happy, but the health and well-being of our animals comes first. We are firm believers that all animals deserve the best possible care when they're in captivity, so please don't ask us to risk their health by shipping them when it's not safe. We have been shipping animals for years with a very good track record, and this is due to the fact that we will hold off shipping in unsafe conditions. We do not offer refunds because a customer doesn't want to wait for an animal to be shipped safely.

International Orders

Minimum international order: depends on location - contact us first! . International orders are pre-pay only and require a 25% non-refundable deposit to hold the order while CITES paperwork & exportation documents are processed. Please be aware that turnaround time on CITES paperwork is often a 60-day minimum, and may take up to six months. Customers must apply for CITES document (if needed) on their end if necessary for species importation & must have an import license. Please add $200.00 (US) to the total cost of your order to cover exportation documents, health certificates & CITES paperwork. Customer is responsible for all actual shipping costs to final destination.
